What is Range Investor Group (RIG)?
● RIG is a group of Range Resources Ltd shareholders established with the aim of improving communications between the company and its private investors.
● RIG does not seek to become a channel of unofficial communications between the Company and RIG members - RIG's aim is for THE COMPANY to improve it's official regulated communications to ALL SHAREHOLDERS.
● However, periodically RIG will seek to have Q&A sessions with Range Resources and in these instances will act as a structured mechanism for shareholder feedback direct to management instead of hundreds of investors all seeking separate communications with Investor Relations to the detriment of both parties.
● RIG will propose an improved communications framework based on the suggestions of its members to Range Resources Ltd. This will aim to make official communications more regular, standardised and transparent and to make unofficial communications less prevalent.
● RIG will seek to develop closer ties between the disparate Range Resources Ltd shareholdership.
● RIG membership on an informally declared basis is 820 members holding 800m shares (c.18% of the company's issued share capital as at 6 June 2014).
● RIG will encourage its members to (and provide advice on how to) exercise their individual voting rights.
● RIG is a benign group that seeks to work constructively with Range Resources Ltd to the mutual benefit of both shareholders and the company.
● RIG also draws on the skills of its membership and has nominated O&G industry operational experts.
What is Range Investor Group (RIG) not?
● RIG is not a militant action group seeking to destabilise the company or interfere in management decisions.
● RIG does not seek to establish private bulletin boards for exclusive private conversation.
● RIG is not seeking to establish block or proxy votes for its members.
● RIG is not the mouthpiece of either Range Resources or any particular shareholder.
Who are RIG's Representatives?
● RIG has ten representatives.
● Two of these are founder members
● Eight are representatives elected by RIG's membership
● All ten members have equal standing and work to support each other.
● The ten representatives are based in 4 different countries including Dubai, Australia and Angola. The ten representatives have between them decades of business experience across commercial, operational and financial disciplines and are all long-term Range shareholders.
● Each of the ten representatives is a moderator of this board and has a red username as a result.
Please feel free to submit suggestions or ask any of us any questions either on these boards, via Private Message or our email rangeinvestorgroup@gmail.com
